Fresh water lakes are integral components of our ecosystem. For this reason participants of this trip are taken to Haleji Lake to study its impact. Haleji is a fresh water reservoir, a wildlife sanctuary and a ramsar site. It is also recognized as a bird watchers paradise as 222 species of birds have been sited and recorded at this lake and its surroundings.
